The Journey™ Elite Contour Plus cushion utilizes Sanosphere™ Technology (combination of Tru-Relief™ and Skydex™), that envelopes bony prominences, providing ultimate comfort and pressure redistribution. The Sanosphere Technology calculates areas needing greater envelopment and stability and floats these areas using Hemi-Air Zones. The deep contour and slight wedge in the Elite Contour Plus' top layer is design to encourage proper pelvic alignment and helps prevent the pelvis from sacral sliding. This cushion is designed for individuals with or at high risk for skin breakdown up to stage III + IV or greater.

Sanosphere's dual hemispheres compress and distribute pressure evenly throughout the hemisphere base.
Hemisphere diameters vary for calculated weight distribution and positioning factors. These calculations are
adjusted for coccyx and ischial tuberosity regions allowing for envelopment and decreased pressure to those
areas most susceptible to pressure wounds.
Sanosphere technology provides high performance pressure relief with no maintenance.
